Paper Jam Caused by Unremoved Protective Film

Issue Description:
Printer experienced a recurring paper jam issue where the paper was being pulled and wrapped around the roller. Root Cause:
Upon inspection after device return, it was found that a clear plastic protective film located near the metal bar adjacent to the roller had not been removed during setup. This caused paper to stick and jam during printing. Resolution:
  1. Removed the clear plastic protective film near the roller.
  2. Cleaned any remaining adhesive residue to ensure smooth paper feeding.
  3. Tested the printer confirmed normal paper feeding and printing operation.
Preventive Action / Training Note:
  • During installation or maintenance, always check and remove all protective films around rollers and internal mechanical parts.
  • Ensure the roller area is free from adhesive residue or debris before testing.
Conclusion:
Removing the unpeeled plastic film resolved the paper jam issue completely.
