Issue Description:
Printer experienced a recurring paper jam issue where the paper was being pulled and wrapped around the roller.
Root Cause:
Upon inspection after device return, it was found that a clear plastic protective film located near the metal bar adjacent to the roller had not been removed during setup. This caused paper to stick and jam during printing.
Resolution:
-
Removed the clear plastic protective film near the roller.
-
Cleaned any remaining adhesive residue to ensure smooth paper feeding.
-
Tested the printer confirmed normal paper feeding and printing operation.
Preventive Action / Training Note:
-
During installation or maintenance, always check and remove all protective films around rollers and internal mechanical parts.
-
Ensure the roller area is free from adhesive residue or debris before testing.
Conclusion:
Removing the unpeeled plastic film resolved the paper jam issue completely.
